What You Need To Know… About the Cirrus JetStream Program – A unique approach to engine and airframe protection

JetStream Peace of Mind

What you should know about the Cirrus JetStream Program

Peace of mind, or a run on your bank account?

It depends...  You will like JetStream if you place a high value "Peace of Mind" when it comes down to protecting the aircraft and maintaining its value.  If you are used to paying after you fly for jet programs, then you might not.

I was told that Cirrus Aircraft wanted to create a path for SR22 and SR22T owners to transition into their new jet as smoothly as possible.  This meant the new jet would be single engine, have side stick yoke control, fit inside of an average T-Hangar, have familiar Garmin avionics, land at speeds like the SR22 series planes and have a predicable cost of ownership. If so, Cirrus Aircraft hit the mark! These characteristics make the SF50 Vision Jet the most sought-after Very Light Jet being produced today.

One key feature of the SF50 Vision Jet package is the JetStream Ownership Program, or JetStream for short.

What is JetStream?  It is a prepaid engine and airframe maintenance program that includes engine coverage through the Williams International LLC Tap Blue Program as well as airframe coverage through authorized Vision Jet Service Centers.  The program also covers Jeppesen database and chart subscriptions, Sirius XM entertainment and weather subscriptions, SAT phone and SMS services as well as a starter Wi-Fi subscription (for Wi-Fi equipped G2+ aircraft).  One annual recurrent training and FARS 61.58 Pilot-in-command proficiency check is included, in addition to AOG support, coverage for recommended and mandatory service bulletins and everything listed below.

What is included in JetStream?

How does it work?

JetStream contracts cost about $500 to $675 per hour and its prepaid.  Other jet programs are typically pay as you fly, but are not as comprehensive as JetStream.  Cost per hour for JetStream coverage depends upon the age of your aircraft, whether you have onboard Wi-Fi and the number of hours purchased.  JetStream contracts can range from 150 hours of flight time over 12 months, all the way up to 1000 hours of flight time over 36 months.
