Gen 1 Vision Jet Garmin Perspective Touch Database Update Procedure

In this video, I demonstrate the database updating procedures for G1 Vision Jets based upon a viewer's request.

Please note the process used to update G2 and G2+ is different - DO NOT FOLLOW THE G1 PROCEDURE.

Garmin Perspective Touch avionics in G1 SF50's can be updated fairly easily if you know the entire procedure.  We do not recommend updating databases without an experienced person assisting until you fully understand the process.

Here is what you will need:

1. 28.8 Volt (minimum of 25-50 Amp) Ground Power Unit
2. PC Based Computer with a USB-A port
3. Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.1 SDHC/SDXC/microSDHC/SDXC Card Reader (required for the Flight Stream 510 Card)
