Flying a New G2+ Vision Jet, CAA Fuel Prices and 3-P Aeronautical Decision Making Tips (Video)

Let's Talk About the Three Phases of Aeronautical Decision Making for Vision Jet Pilots

As you develop time and experience in a Vision Jet, you may become complacent because the aircraft becomes easy to fly and serious events are rare. The amazing safety record, powerful avionics systems, a wide array of capabilities and CAPS tend to steer pilots into some level of complacency. One way to avoid this is to consistently apply the three phases of Aeronautical Decision-Making (ADM) to every flight.

Three Phases of ADM:

  1. Pre-Flight ADM:  Use a comprehensive set of preflight tools, processes and resources.  Use the 3-P Process!
  2. Enroute ADM: Evaluate current situations while flying and compare and contrast this information to what you determined during preflight.
  3. Post-Flight ADM: Reflect on information gathered and processed during preflight and enroute phases post flight to determine the reliability of information sources and quality of decisions make in flight.

Come along with me as I fly a nearly brand new G2+ Vision Jet, discuss three recommended phases of aeronautical decision-making, the 3-P Process and offer tips to save money when flying.
Avoiding complacency when flying a highly capable and technologically advanced aircraft begins with a comprehensive approach to preflight planning and risk assessment for EVERY flight.

A comprehensive Aeronautical Decision-Making Process (ADM) is the 3-P process… PERCEIVE, PROCESS and PERFORM…  Download the 3-P Process below.
