Amazing Capabilities and Efficiency
I am currently a corporate pilot based in Birmingham, Alabama, where I have had the privilege of flying a Vision Jet for a prominent figure for the past three years. Before this opportunity, I worked with a variety of corporate clients, allowing me to gain invaluable experience and insights into the unique needs of business leaders in today’s fast-paced world. I am an entrepreneur, as well, so I understand this well.
One consistent theme I have observed throughout my career is the understanding that time is an irreplaceable commodity. Once a moment slips away, it can never be reclaimed. We also have to keep in mind that smaller cities and venues are virtually impossible to efficiently reach using the airlines.

More About This Mission
The client had critical meetings during the afternoon and evening in Marysville, KS. This venue is remote and about 136 miles from Kansas City, the closest international airport. The closet regional regional airport would be 63 miles away in Manhattan, KS. There are no non-stop flights between Birmingham, AL and these airports this lengthens the required travel time beyond what is practical for the client’s busy schedule. This is precisely why he uses General Aviation and a Vision Jet! He can fly non-stop to most venues on his own schedule and land at smaller, local airports.
There happens to be a local airport (KMYZ) in Marysville, KS, which would have been out most efficient option, but the airport does not have any fueling or services available. Our next-best option was in Beatrice, NE (KBIE).
Beatrice, NE was a 45 minute drive from the client’s venue, but still considerably shorter than any other airports in the region. The distance between Birmingham, AL and Beatrice, NE was 734 miles and 2:43 flight time.
The client finished his meetings, grabbed a bite to eat and drove back to Beatrice, NE by around 9:20 PM. We departed Beatrice, NE shortly thereafter and we flew 735 miles in 1:51 hours of flight time. We landed in Birmingham, AL at 11:41 PM. General Aviation and the Vision Jet allowed the client to accomplish amazing things is a space of about nine hours and make it home in time to sleep in his own bed.
In summary, this small jet provides regional efficiency and reach by allowing travel to small, local airports easily and cost-effectively. With seating for the pilot and up to four adults, the Vision Jet is worthy of consideration.
