A Commitment to S.A.F.E.T.Y. with a Complete Safety Briefing
The safety record for the SF50 Vision Jet has been very good since the inception of the fleet in 2017. There are over five hundred Vision Jets delivered to date and it remains the most popular light jets being produced.
We have included a safety briefing video that was produced by Cirrus Aircraft for your information and to assisting in describing the safety features of Generation 2 Vision Jets.
CAPS, Cirrus Airframe Parachute System comes standard with all Cirrus Airplanes, which provides a parachute system for the entire plane (see above photo by Cirrus Aircraft). In addition, G2 and G2+ Vision Jets have the Garmin Safe Return feature that can control and land the plane at an airport in the event of an incapacitated pilot. Here is the safety briefing video by Cirrus Aircraft.
The Vision Jet was awarded the 2017 Robert J. Collier Trophy for developing the world’s first single engine personal jet with integrated Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) for the entire aircraft.
