Our SOE program incorporates all of the requirements established by Cirrus Aircraft while going beyond the minimum standards by emphasizing real-world operational experience and best practices developed through extensive Vision Jet ownership and professional flying.
Our mentor pilots create an environment that is challenging, enjoyable, and focused on developing sound judgment and confidence. Every flight is an opportunity to strengthen your skills, improve aeronautical decision-making, and gain practical experience operating the Vision Jet in a variety of real-world scenarios.
We recognize that your time is valuable. Our goal is to make every hour productive by tailoring the experience to your background, proficiency, and intended mission profile. Whether your flying involves business travel, family trips, or personal recreation, we focus on the operational skills you’ll use long after your SOE is complete.
What to Expect
The Cirrus SOE program requires a minimum of 25 hours of supervised flight time with an approved mentor pilot. Depending on your experience, proficiency, and comfort level, additional supervised operating experience may be recommended.
Throughout the program, you’ll work toward:
- Completing all Cirrus Training Proficiency Objectives
- Developing sound aeronautical decision-making
- Building confidence as Pilot in Command
- Gaining practical experience in a variety of operating environments
- Learning efficient operating techniques and best practices
- Becoming comfortable managing the aircraft independently
